Don't Want To Leave Your Loved One Alone?

SET UP COMPANION CARE SERVICES IN AUSTIN, TX AND SURROUNDING AREAS

Have you become nervous about leaving your loved one home alone? They might be physically strong and capable, but so many of our dearly cherished seniors are left alone for so much time, bored, and are too easily exhausted to take themselves out or perhaps their minds can lead them to precarious situations when alone (i.e.: dementia or senile tendencies). If this describes your situation, you've found the perfect solution!

We have a team of trained companions, who will engage with your loved one until loneliness a thing of the past! Our caregiver's purpose is to bring energy and fun back into your loved one's life, giving your loved one not just a "babysitter", but rather a buddy that will take them out into the world, give them experiences and new memories, enjoy activities that they have missed, manage their household as needed, and any other needs that might be present. You can trust us to be your watchful eyes as you go out for work or whatever life demands of you.

What Can a Companion Do For You?

Every client will receive an initial assessment by one of our nurses to create a personalized care plan specific to your loved one’s needs. The list below are examples of what that may include.

  • Assess your elderly loved one’s personal wants and needs.
  • Keep your loved one company, as a responsible and caring presence in their home while you are away.
  • Take your loved one out on fun activities, such as going to the movies or going shopping, especially activities that he/she enjoyed in the past if possible.
  • Transportation to appointments or other errands.
  • Light housekeeping.
  • Cooking some meals.
  • Keeping a watchful eye over them as they sleep.
  • Be a kind and understanding ear, when your loved one speaks of life, past memories, or other heart-opening moments, whether the words make sense or not.
  • Keep you informed of how your loved one is doing or of any concerns or changes in his/her behavior.
